Casco Antiguo, the old town of Marbella is a wonderful maze of cobblestoned streets filled with many little shops, boutiques and cafe/restaurants, and the famous Orange Square “Plaza de los Naranjos” is a famous area where you find people enjoying the traditional and romantic Spanish setting and atmosphere:
Marañon, At The Heart of Marbella
Right at the heart of Marbella is our Marañon apartment. The spacious two-bedroom property enjoys a corner sea view from the balcony and everything Marbella has to offer on your doorstep.
The beachside promenade known as the Paseo Marítimo is an attractive promenade lined with palm trees, beaches, chiringuitos and restaurants such as Da Bruno, Santiago, The Harbour to name a few.
The Golden Mile, one of the most luxurious residential areas in Marbella, lies to the East of the our Marañon apartment along the Mediterranean coast. It stretches for slightly over a mile (2km) from Marbella to Puerto Banus. Along the Golden Mile you will find restaurants, trendy bars, golf courses and luxurious hotels.
Some sights worth a mention include the Palace of King Fahd – one of the largest private residences in Europe – the Al Risalat Mosque, the Marbella Club Hotel and the Puente Romano Hotel which has many fabulous restaurants and well-preserved Roman bridge set within its tropical gardens.
